Okay so the dialogue is still cringy as fuck for me and the lingo these vampires use is weird as hell but I’m digging the series still.
So…. It’s Rhage’s story and he’s been cursed with a monster literally living inside of him… he pissed if the Scribe Virgin and she decided to curse him with this dragon-type monster for 100 years.
Mary is the main female character. A human. Who gets mixed up with these vampires but her voice is what Rhage fell in love with right away. He has to have her. At all costs.
Mary doesn’t want to connect with anyone knowing her outcome is grim and doesn’t want to pull anyone down along with it. She has cancer. Again. It’s back.
Is the series spicy? Ugh no. Dark? Nah.
Weirdly addicting? Kinda. When I’m in a funk, I buy the next book. Ebooks are a whopping $8.99 so I’m in no rush but they’re definitely fun.
This book leaves off with nothing quite settled. Where the fuck is Bella?! What you doing baby Zhadist?!
