I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It combines great elements of fantasy and romance. I am not a huge fan of two love interests, but I thought it was well-done here. The elements of mythology weaved throughout the story are absolutely gorgeous. If you love character-driven plots, then you will really enjoy this one. I devoured this novel in a day and can't wait to get my hands on the sequel. I also love that even though this is a duology, we still get a complete story within this novel. It does end leaving us wanting more from our cast of characters.
