I've been meaning to read the books for a while, as I really wanted to watch the films (someone suggested I read the books first).
This was not what I imagined it to be at all. I wasn't expecting it to be so dark and to have multiple layers to the story. I found the beginning slow, but mid way through the book I got really into it. If there weren't multiple layers to the story/plot I wouldn't bother with the next books.
I was NOT expecting that ending at all. It made me sit up in my bed through the whole thing. R.I.P Chuck</3
The ending made me immediately pick up the next one though.
