Trash. Trash. Trash.

I am so glad this was on Kindle Unlimited, so I didn't have to pay for this.

Writing: 2/5 - Plot: 1/5 - Ending: 0/5

The writing here is very simplistic and at times, just flat out bad. That's all I have to say. Choppy, cringy, and so on. I didn't care for a single character as they all fell flat as h*ll for me. Didn't care what whiny Meredith was doing behind her back, didn't care she was kidnapped, her sister Greer was insufferable.

The plot here was full of cliché after cliché and was so cheesy and basic. Wasn't anything new, nor was it a good example of tropes that have been done millions of times before.

The ending ruined all chances of redemption for this book. It was so freaking stupid I nearly threw my kindle. The twist? Be for real. Please. Be for real. THAT WAS THE MOTIVE? Girl.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

You're telling me, Meredith was kidnapped by her dick appointment because he was jealous, and "loved" her more than her husband? Ronan's character was INSUFFERABLE. The fact the author even tried to write it so that Ronan was able to take the case of Meredith missing, and didn't acknowledge that he was having sexual relations with her prior to her disappearance? Please.

PLEASE BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW. Also, why was the trust fund of 5 million such a big aspect of the plot, when it is never mentioned again at the end? Did she get the money or not?

Someone, please explain why Meredith goes back to Andrew after he abuses her mentally and physically, but by the end, she's jumping on his dick dry? Girl, why didn't you run away?
