I'm a middle-aged, white, affluent-ish, cis-gendered,  married-to-a-man, woman and I couldn't have loved this book more. I'm likely not a member of the target audience for this book, but I was simply blown away. Reyes approaches the many difficult topics introduced with grace, intelligence and respect... without making us forget that this is, ultimately, a YA romance. 

I believed this book and I believed the characters. I would read another of her books in a heartbeat!
