Killer aunt? check. Toxic but not toxic and most definitely culture related relationship issues? check. Emotions on high? check.

This book had it all. Short notes:

- I loved the plot. It was everything actiony and didn't lag at the end (even with the emphasis on the romance and love).

- I'm not a super big fan of the romance, because some of it reminds me way too much of toxicity and volatily - but in saying that!! Curran demonstrates that he's not toxic. The relationship does develop with a lot of talking and negotiation between Kate and Curran. I do cheer them on because they try very hard and care a lot about each other.

- This book also begins with a very strong romance plot - literally the first page begins with an event that we ended with in Book 3.

- We learn some more about Kate's history and family. And we even meet the family! love the mythology and fantasy worldbuilding of this book. It was fantastic.

- The Pack is also very intense, but individuals are really funny.

- The Order however, gives me a headache!

Overall
Going right onto the next book!
