This was a cute book a nice pallet cleanser and a quick read. I think it was just the length of the book but I would have loved a bit more of well everything! World building, slow burn! Maybe it’s the 500page fantasy books I’ve been reading lately though…. The most important thing is that Isobel and Rook are adorable, I love them!
