Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. A place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer—they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one terrible and wonderful summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.
When Belly want to be with Conrad and they had difference of opinion, on the same side Jeremiah had a crush on her and let her choice above his choice. The up and the down side of there relationship is became the mess for friendship. When Conrad refuse to acknowledge her love and she didn't know what to do and how to move ahead but as the time come close and they have to choose path as they are 14 now and Conrad is going for his sports training next year and so as Jeremiah. Belly and other have there own life plan. So this must be there last meeting before they went there way.

This is second in series and after Belly fall for Jeremiah and got her feelings hurt by Conrad after her confronted feelings things are going to change.
It used to be that Belly counted the days until summer, until she was back at Cousins Beach with Conrad and Jeremiah. But not this year. Not after Susannah got sick again and Conrad stopped caring and become a silent spectators in everyone life. Everything that was right and good has fallen apart, leaving Belly wishing summer would never come.
When out of blue one day Susannah passed away fighting a long battle and against illness, things changes and Jeremiah calls saying Conrad has disappeared, Belly knows what she must do to make things right again. And it can only happen back at the beach house, the three of them together, the way things used to be. If this summer really and truly is the last summer, it should end the way it started—at Cousins Beach.
Conrad never give up on the cousin's beach, things come settle down when they had a talk and bit of insecurities was cut down, now they have the faith that something might be left before they went away and last day before leaving and Jeremiah and Belly had a moment and he witnessed it and finally in the climax he admit his feelings for Belly and next morning all changes as they reach home.

It's been two years since Conrad told Belly to go with Jeremiah. She and Jeremiah have been inseparable ever since, even attending the same college—only, their relationship hasn't exactly been the happily ever after Belly had hoped it would be. And when Jeremiah makes the worst mistake a boy can make, he cheated on her when he went to summer holidays with his friends.
Belly is forced to question what she thought was true love. she really have a future with Jeremiah, but then he came back and proposed her for marriage , she want to proof something to someone and in anger she take the decision and during a dinner for Suzanne. They disclosed to near ones and life changes for all . They go against family and Conrad go behind to convince Isabelle mother to come for her.
She broke up on the day of marriage as day before this Conrad confesses his feelings for and she has to understand where her heart realise, she took time went to Spain for college and had her share of experience and came back and at 23 years of age she got married to Conrad and fulfill Suzanne wish too. Letters of Conrad to belle when in Spain was beautiful.
