The Misadventures of Buck and Carl: by Jody Poole

4.0

This was a charming tale. It reminded me of a children's show that was created in collaboration with Dr. Seuss and Douglas Adams. It was full of silly surprises and colorful descriptions, sprinkled with frequent pop references. The language seemed a bit high to be a children's tale, and the complexity a bit low to be an adult tale, but I'm sure both would enjoy it.
