I didn't really know what to expect when I picked this up. A friend of mine recommended it to me, she said that it wasn't like the poetry we've read in class. That it was actually understandable, which it was. My best friend and I read it together in one sitting. It was...well, it definitely went places that aren't normally talked about in our everyday lives.
What I'm trying to say, although poorly, was that it was really good. One of the few poetry books that I liked that wasn't made originally for kids.
