I picked up this book because of the author and her past books.  But when I was finished I felt blah and disappointed and underwhelmed. I expected more from this book but especially more twists. My first thoughts were ok I didn't suspect him much but really that's the ending. I read a lot of mysteries and thrillers and this was about average to a bit below average.

The writing was okay. The narrator was good. The book was a bit too slow though, I prefer fast-paced mystery thrillers and this was just medium-paced to me.

There wasn't much character development and only one of the MCs I think was lovable. I found Liv to be annoying honestly, and not just for the memory issues. She just seemed boring and predictable. Also, the constant romance was irritating.

I wouldn't recommend this book to mystery/thriller readers who really enjoy fast-paced books. If you don't read a lot of mystery/thrillers or you don't mind repetition/meandering then you would probably enjoy this book.
