Lord of the Flies by William Golding

3.0

While I enjoyed the thematic elements of the book, the plot outline and dialogue, and the execution of symbolism, etc. I feel like Golding's use of description is left to be desired. It felt too convoluted at times and difficult to follow and could have used some further polishing, particularly the landscape descriptions. Overall though, I found it worth the time to read.
