Sometimes you search for books and sometimes they find you. The latter was the case with this one.
This book was an answer of my prayers: “What to do with my life?”. It is about John who in an attempt to get away from work and relief from it to recharge his batteries after a well deserved vacation is stuck in traffic in the middle of nowhere and decides to take a least travelled road. With little petrol left he finds a café in the middle of nowhere and decides to stop for a meal.
In the menu there are 3 written questions:
1. Why are you here?
2. Are you afraid of death?
3. Are you fulfilled?

By engaging conversation with the people who work at the café John starts to rethink and evaluate his life and reaches some conclusions:
1. You should do things that you enjoy and love everyday.
2. Only give your time to thinks you believe in, don’t waste time in emails, letters, advertisement and so, on things that you don’t need because if you dedicate 20 minutes of your day to that, you end up losing 1 year of you life (within your life span) something that doesn’t bring you anything.
3. Adapt yourself to the flow of life, you’ll get easily and quickly tired if you keep swimming “against the current”.
4. Learn new things, be curious, be out there so you get exposed to new things that could become your life purpose.
5. What is your “purpose in life” and how will you complete it?

Beautifully written in a way that makes you reflect about your own life! Exactly what I needed in where I’m at life!
