This is an amazing adaption of the story. While some facts are left out (obviously), it is certainly made more palatable and slightly more understandable for younger audiences. It was a hard read because of the content, but good to read for that same reason. This was such an important time in our history, and I really think this was a god way to digest some of the things that happened.
