his is an urban fantasy that has a tiny litle bit of romance to it. There is maybe one scene that includes a little passion, but for the most part it’s just a woman trying to get her memories back.

Marion is powerful though she doesn’t know it. She lost her memory somehow and is in great danger. She is the voice of God and only she can communicate between God and everyone else. The story starts out one way and I thought I knew how it was going to go, but I was assuming too much.

As I was reading, I fell into a story of conspiracy, hierarchy and devious shenanigans. Marion is being shuffled from one safe place to another and even she finds out she doesn’t particularly like who she was before she lost her memory.

Push comes to shove and she needs to get to a high level conference because if she doesn’t, everything and everyone is doomed. Along her shuffling, she meets people who end up being her best bet at staying alive.

This was an ok book, but not exactly what I expected. The action and adventure was definitely there but from the cover, I expected more romance. If you aren’t real keen on romance, then you won’t miss it.
