I loved this book!!! I cried happy tears and sad tears and I loved every minute of it. The relationship between Yamilet and Cesar is so wonderful and the development of the relationship with their mom makes my heart so happy! I love reading books about young queer people of color and their journey through high school and how they navigated it through tough times. My heart was so full every time Bo and Yamilet would interact and we could read Yamilet’s internal dialogue. This book was sad and emotional and made my heart full.
