Leviathan Falls by James S. A. Corey
3.5

The grand finale to the nine books.
What a journey.

The authors did such a good job at making this feel like full-circle. Even though there are aliens, and artefacts and new galaxies; this long series has always been about the humans. The small players who make a big impact.

The books are so bingable, fast-paced, addictive. There is dry humour, darker moments, and incredible found family that just progresses.

”You’re going to be fighting for the fate of humanity. I’m going to be worrying about algebra assignments.” “Well, maybe you’ll get lucky and we’ll win and the algebra will matter. Then twenty, thirty years down the road, something else will show up to slaughter everyone, and you can take care of that one.”

Amazing character arcs, an AH-HAH moment even in the epilogue, and a satisfying ending.

No five stars, but I would say this is overall a four star series.⭐️
I have not watched the TV show except for three episodes of season 1.
