Coffee, Milk & Spider Silk by Coyote JM Edwards
3.0
A drider (spider-centaur creature) retires from essentially the police force to open a cafe in this very short novella.
Thoughts:
- very quick to jump into the "action"
- cute and quirky main character
- shallow character development due to the length of the book
- too many characters; it feels crowded with such little story
- not too bad if you go in knowing the story is less than 100 pages and there isn't room for anything fantastic
