I don't know how to describe this book or series - I don't know how to adequately explain that this series says more about motherhood and trauma than any parenting book I've ever read. I don't know how to quantify or categorize it... so I won't atempt to. I will simply tell you that I listened to it as an audio book and this remains the only book I was unable to listen to on my commute because I was crying too hard to see before the first chapter had concluded. I couldn't listen to this and drive safely at the same time. It is that powerful.
