I’m not really sure what to think of this book. I always love books about vampires and the paranormal, regardless of the story or the quality. It’s hard to form an opinion about it, but I’m going to try my best.
Overall the writing style was alright. On average it was fast paced, but still understandable. However, the amount of description that went into clothes, felt a bit unnecessary.
Some parts of the story were also unclear to me. But that is perhaps because I bought the book without realizing it was a sequel. Regardless, I felt like some things could have been explained a bit better.
It was a good book. But for me it lacked a wow-factor, it blended in with the other paranormal books on my shelf. The concept was original and the world worldbuilding was original. But there is something I can’t put my finger on that fails to make the book stand out. For this reason I have given it three stars.
