Siblings Without Rivalry: How to Help Your Children Live Together So You Can Live Too by Elaine Mazlish, Adele Faber

3.0

I wanted more from this than I got. I do think it's a bit outdated...The examples and the language used are definitely out of date. HOwever, some of the advice is useful, I did glean what I could from the many chapters and examples. It just doesn't always work as perfectly as you would hope.

The advice can be summed up as follows:
Always acknowledge your kids' emotions and feelings. Summarize their take on the situation with an emphasis on what they're feeling.

Try not to pass judgement on their perspective (no matter how annoying) when at all possible

Encourage them to work things out for themselves.
