the book had potential, but just didn't do it for me. my main issue is the way the characters were written, it made them a bit unlikable, which means i didn't really feel the heartbreak and sadness. i also think it was all a bit chaotic, with many little storylines combined but none of the storylines given enough time and detail. all in all a little disappointed, i'd hoped for more.
