A book about producing Broadway shows? Some of the best, and my favorites, from the last few decades? Sign me up.
I have to say, this book ha some balance issues. I almost gave up a number of times. Obviously, the author is a more talented producer than he is a writer - not to mention, what a story! So much to get through and organize.
It was wonderful to hear about some of my favorite shows from this angle, not to mention a fairly succinct overview of the world (or at least New York City), during such a pivotal time.
