This is one of those stories with beautiful, complex characters that truly come to life on the pages from the beginning. Micah is on the surface a bratty and cheeky sub who seems to have fixated on Tackett, an older Dom, who has never had a full-time sub and isn't looking for one either.
Micah is a beautiful character, who underneath the cocky exterior hides a conviction that he is somehow defective. He is a sufferer of ADHD and calls his brain "broken". I must admit that, while I'm not a fan of using BDSM to fix defects, this wasn't so much about fixing, as it was about giving coping mechanisms.
The reason I'm not rating this higher is because I found the timeline a little unrealistic. It seemed that all the issues and Micah's limits were overcome in two weeks. That to me, no matter how good the chemistry or connection is, is just not completely believable. So, unfortunately that took a little way from the story for me.
But overlooking that, it's a great story with very dreamy, sexy characters, steamy hot smexing...what more do you want?
