Floored by Karla Sorensen

5.0

Another book by Karla Sorensen that I managed to fall in love with. This series, this family is just so heartwarming I never want it to end.

In this book we follow Lia Ward, one of the twins, as she navigates her life in England while she faces her past and present. When Lia meets Jude McAllister, they form an instant connection. After flirting back and forth , they decide to have a one night stand and probably never see each other again. That is until Lia discovers she is pregnant with his child.

Both Lia and Jude have to face their past and their complicated family dynamics if they want to provide the best for their child. So far we have seen how each Ward sister has been affected by their mother leaving, and being raised by their brother. But with Lia, we see her fears as her pregnancy grows, her doubts and concerns whether she will be a good mother.

Meanwhile, Jude struggles with his soccer career and the disapproval of his parents. The couple endures some ups and downs while trying to manage their long distance relationship, but overall their love story was just so beautiful. Both Jude and Lia worked extra hard to be able to provide for their child and to grow as people. They had so much growth individually in order to be with one another and for their future child.

This was by far my favorite Karla Sorensen book, it had so much romance, so many cute family moments. It was a fun, and cute read filled with some angst but overall very enjoyable! I know I say this so much, but i cannot wait until Sorensen’s next book!
