The characters are likable and the storyline is fun. It’s the typical fake dating trope. I’ve only read Say You Swear so I knew Cam and Brady from there. They are some of the best characters in the series and it’s nice that they get their own series and a HEA.
There seems to be some continuity issues with Brady’s character. He was bi in SYS but it was never discussed in this book, in fact he was solely talked about as being straight (with women).
One thing that I struggle with is that the author tends to get confused about where she’s at in the story. This happened in SYS as well. Scenes became confusing because it was almost as if she got lost in her description and changed up what was happening or who was doing what. The editor or proofreaders never noticed it. It makes it feel like the books are rushed and not much time is actually spent on them.
