The Volunteer: The True Story of the Resistance Hero who Infiltrated Auschwitz by Jack Fairweather

5.0

Highly readable, very carefully researched. This was a story that I did not know about until I picked up this book.
It has some fascinating, and thought provoking insights into the holocaust, the response of the rest of the world to the information (as early as 1942) and the effects of living in such an awful environment on different people.
Highly recommended.
