I liked the concept of this book. The images in my mind are probably very different than anyone else who has read the book. Lots of interesting illusions and magical fantasies in the circus. There were a LOT of characters. I still don’t think I know who all of them were entirely. Usually I don’t mind the plot jumping back and forth in time but that aspect in this book was kind of confusing for me. The ending was a little vague as well.
