Deepak and Veera made me believe in love again. The swooniest inner monologues l've ever read. The most deliciously frustrating: just kiss already you both love each other even though you think the other person doesn't. Quite honestly the best friends-to-lovers ever.
Love is messy and these two created such a beautiful mess together.
I have such bittersweet feelings about this book. It was a phenomenal end to this series but it is the end of an era. And it ended on such a banger.
Also finding out who Mrs. W.S. Gupta was 🫡
Slight spoiler but not enough to blur: btw there was only one really hot and heavy sex scene but the rest of the book was dripping in their chemistry as their relationship developed that I didn’t really notice that there wasn’t a whole lot of explicit content until after I finished. It didn’t feel like we were building to a moment that never happened because their chemistry was so palpable and constant
Thank you Avon Books for my advanced readers copy!
