I took a break from Fitzek’s books for a while - wasn’t convinced by his writing anymore, and, admittedly, was also influenced by some negative reviews - but Mimik brought me back on the train! The characters make some stupid decisions that annoyed me a little. However, the stakes are high and the plot twist is big in this one. Could be predicted, yes, but honestly, I didn’t see it coming. Goosebumps!
