The Characters…..
Okay, I just have to rant here at how much I love Sam. Sam is the guy that every girl wants as a boyfriend. Sweet, sexy and protective. Of course, I also love Isabelle for being so rough, tough and crazy. She has some thick skin and Cole is having a very hard time breaking through it. I love Cole and Isabelle as a couple and just wish that they could get their act together. As for Grace…hallelujah!!! she had finally stood up to her parents!!
The Storyline…..
I enjoyed the direction the story had taken. I know a lot of people were upset with the ending being so open, but it kind of left something to the imagination. I have to admit, I was kind of bummed, but it did not shy me away from loving the storyline itself.
Sam & Grace…The Relationship……
Ugh! The beginning of this book is absolutely heart wrenching when poor Sam is trying to find Grace. It seemed to have taken forever. (LOL…) Anyway, when they finally did meet up, I really expected some kind of fireworks and them to break into song. I was slightly disappointed at how they just talked to each other at first like they hadn’t just spent months apart.
In Conclusion….
I am sad to see this story end. This was one of the first series that I started reading after I read Twilight and got hooked. I really enjoyed this trilogy and would have read three more books. Maybe Maggie has left it open-ended so that she could write another in the future??? We can always hope right?
