Stolen Bases: Baseball, Brothers Rival, Secret Romance by Leslie Ann

5.0

Applause, Applause APPLAUSE. Leslie, another amazing book featuring our youngest Miller Brother, this time the baseball pitcher, grey sweatpants, backward cap wearing, Cameron. And he is DELICIOUS. He is immediately smitten with the equally gorgeous Talia, whom he "helps" out of an awkward moment. The unfortunate thing is, she is the sister of his rival, Nico.

Nico has been bought into the team as the catcher, and the coach believes the best thing to deal with these two "enemies" is to have them room together, sit together on planes, well you get the picture. Imagine Cameron's surprise when the object of his desire, Talia, is asked by Nico to spend time with him during pre season.

Cameron and Talia are just, OMG so perfect, and what makes Cameron (Big Guy) and is Itty Bitty is, they talk about everything, Cameron has those delicious golden retriever traits we love (with the filthiest mouth), and, for once, Talia can actually be herself. I love everything about their relationship as they steal every base together, all while hiding their relationship from Nico and the Romero Family. While Cameron and Talia enjoy the forbidden nature of their relationship, there is always that threat that Nico will find out. Also, Cameron really wants to know, what is deal is, why does Nico hold such a grudge. The reason actually had me tearing up, it was so beautifully written, this book hit the ball out of the park, definitely stole all the bases, and won the World Series. I am so excited for Eli (the final Miller Brother) and loved hearing how our other Miller brothers and their families are doing. Leslie, thank you for having me as one of your "Sunnies" I am so grateful, and loved everything about your writing.
