Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross

5.0

THE SUN IS SHINING, THE TANK IS CLEAN AND WE ARE OUT OF A READING SLUMP. Oh lordy am I glad that Maddy recommended that I pick up this book so I could experience the joy of reading again. Few things have caught my attention like this book has, a perfectly moody atmospheric book with dark academia vibes. This book is easy to get lost in, the character and world building was to die for. For a fantasy novel it does not demand much from the reader, it is incredibly easy to read and become orientated with the world. Iris and Roman are flawed but likeable individuals and I cannot wait to see where the story goes next. I am also excited to learn more about the world these characters are living in, I feel like we've only scratched the surface.

Gimme some more magical typewriters pls.
