this book is about independence, solitude and self discovery. it is about Circe our main character who is exiled to a small island called Aeaea and we follow her through her life  as she teaches herself witchcraft, it is an amazing book, but i would recommend that you read The Song of Achilles first, because you may not be able to enjoy these books as much in the opposite order.
