Voyage of the Damned by Frances White
5.0

Was this book perfect? No. But was it the most fun thing I read in a long time? Definitely.

The characters are what really made the story shine. I was sad for everyone who died because I just wanted to know more about them. I usually don’t enjoy romance, but I really loved this one. Even though they only knew each other for a short time I was instantly sold on their chemistry.

The mystery was slightly predictable, but I really didn’t mind. I figured out some things but was still surprised by others and how it all fit together. I loved pretty much everything till day 10 of the voyage. The ending was was a little strange.

I can’t get over the fact this book made me fall in love with Wyatt only to reveal he already died on day two. I mean - I know it’s been Ravi all along, but that somehow makes it feel like it was all a scam. Now I’m grieving for a character I never really got to know in the first place.

Ravi knew who the murderers were all along and did nothing, just for Dee to figure it out himself!? He even was ok with the plan at the beginning?! He was the one who hid his clothes?! I get why Dee had to get over this fast - after all, cooperating with Ravi was his only chance to stop Cordelia. But I was really surprised he honestly still loved him.
