Ghosts of Christmas Past by Tim Martin
4.0
such a lovely collection of spooky stories! some were scarier than the others and some i liked for the heartwarming cosy atmosphere. my favourites were;
dinner for one: a mind boggling story that one cannot understand but can surely admire. totally crazy.
the step: an anxiety inducing horror story of a man being followed by an invisible step that puts you on edge the whole time and doesn't let you put the book down until you've read it. i loved it.
someone in the lift: reading it feels like you're entering a dark room where you can't know what or who exists and can feel a presence, an unknown scent in the air. it catches you offguard and surprises you.
the lady and the fox: it's didn't really spook me out like the aforementioned stories did but it created a really cosy winter atmosphere with the aroma of christmas cake in the air, big blankets, horror movies, snow and a strange creature that appears only on Christmas.
i would totally recommend the whole collection for these stories.
