I very much enjoyed this duology. I found it interesting and compelling. Sometimes when books switch between a few perspectives, there’s one or two that you don’t like reading, but I connected with each narrator. I’ve seen complaints about the pace of the plot and lack of action (compared to the first, I guess), but I didn’t have a problem with either. There are a few things near the end that I feel could’ve been done better, but oh well. I also wish that we could’ve seen more from Eijeh/Ryzek’s perspective. I’d love if she chose to expand on the series a bit.
