Well, this was an 800-page book of disappointment. It took me 8 months to finish it, it was just such a struggle.
The explicit smut did nothing for the book and was why it took me so long to read.
The book had no need to be 800 pages.
Bryce and Hunt have no chemistry whatsoever and it's honestly laughable at this point with the number of secrets Danika had.
The characters just didn't have as much spark this time.
Maybe if I had not procrastinated on this book as well as reread House of Earth and Blood, I'd be writing a different review.
Though the cliffhanger ending was interesting and will mean I will probably buy the next book in the series.
