I can see why people wouldn’t enjoy the book but for me it was a good reading experience. Haunting yet odd and beautiful. Makes you question - Does it ache more to hold on or to let go? When is it suitable to start grieving?

I think this book is more of a journey to letting go/growing apart and imagination to see beyond the words on the pages. A little bit of horror to make it eerie and keep you just reading and in suspense. I don’t think it’s everyone’s cup of tea. I did enjoy reading it and has left me contemplating.

Got me out of a reading slump.
