I absolutely adore this book! Beth Ferry was another author who came to the school for which I work, and she shared her (then) new release with all of us.
This story is inspiring as we watch a lonely scarecrow learn the meaning of friendship with the most unlikely of pals. the friendship between the scarecrow and crow grows, blossoms, and develops into something so captivating and special. Ferry has such a way with words, and as the book rhymes through each page, I am always swept away in the friendship that develops into family.
