krpolaski 's review for:
The Other Bennet Sister
by Janice Hadlow
The book's first half is stronger than the second in pretty much every way, leading to a slightly disappointing ending. Still, Mary's journey and complex relationship with her self-worth and ability to be happy resonated with me so strongly that I cried for over a hundred pages, so there's no way for me to feel comfortable rating it any lower than five stars.
