what is a fantasy book without the convenient best friend?
the first half of the book was excruciatingly slow but the last half makes up for it. i loved wren’s character and… then there’s rose. rose is insufferable.
twin crowns has got the typical ya plot with very few action. lots of moments with wattpad-ish dialogue. i found it to be predictable but i still enjoyed finishing the book, i just wish they made the villain(s) more three-dimensional. hopefully the plot improves in the second book.
