SpoilerI don’t even know where to begin! I got through the first few pages and I was like “ehhh not to impressed.” But then when Miles shows up …the book got sooooo interesting. I really didn’t know where the plot would take me. As I continued to read, I couldn’t help but get so angry at the way Miles screwed over Pete and Maddie. He is the prime example of the typical narcissist who uses his power to intimidate and manipulate people. I was so shocked when Miles didn’t win the court case (man, what a plot twist!) and I really thought that Pete or Maddie would end up dead because of this. The ending really f**cked with me lol. I did not expect Maddie to be the one to kill Miles. I wish there would have been more details leading up to his death which is why I gave it 4 stars.
