Runes of Truth was a fun, quick read! G. Bailey does a wonderful job at world building. I was sucked right into Evie’s story. It was shrouded with mystery and I need to know more! Fans of Cassandra Clare will love this book!
However, when the setting switches about half way through, the writing wasn’t as strong as the beginning of the book. It did pull me back in the last couple of chapters, so I’m glad I stuck to it! I will be reading the next book after that ending!
I also want to note that I love Evie. She is a very strong female lead, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
