Genuinely shocked, the start of the book initially was a slow burner I thought what is this book about how come it’s got so much high ratings I don’t understand, but once again freida makes me put my money where my mouth is and keeps me intrigued. After the plot twist I still felt like it was too good to be true at first I didn’t think it was believable. Even near the end I felt myself feeling every emotion thinking something bad was gonna happen. Omg that book took me through a rollercoaster and I’m reaching for the sequel. I can’t wait to see what the housemaid is up to next. Definitely recommend
