"It was like the line in You've Got Mail.
'All this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings.'"

I just absolutely adore everything Lynn Painter writes! She never ceases to make me laugh out loud and her banter, both flirty and antagonising, are just chef's kiss 🤌

Every time I read one of her books, I just feel like I'm being wrapped in a big hug, and I can go from giggling to kicking my feet to tearing up all within a few pages. Just all the feel-good, heart-warming romance.

"Yeah, I definitely had perverted librarian issues."

The texting in this book was so fun, and cheeky, and the pop culture references were on point. And brother's best friend can never seem to go wrong. It is definitely becoming one of my favourites!

One of my favourite parts of this book though was the way Olivia was so relatable (in not having her shit together) and the way that Colin slowly realised it wasn't so much that she had awful luck as everyone assumed, but that she was so busy living in every moment, and sometimes that became a bit chaotic.

"She was less shitshow and more about living in high-definition, wide-awake, full-on color. Or something more poetic than that. But once I’d seen it, I couldn’t unsee it. It was in everything she did, and it was why everyone was drawn to her the way they were."

Note - I totally adored both of the bonus epilogues too! So freaking cute and just perfectly "Colivia" 😍
