I'm very unsure of an appropriate star rating for this 'book' (short story?). The writing was gorgeous! For example:
"The color wrapped her like a sentence that no longer needed translation."
But I had no idea wtf was going on, tbh. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I'm sure that someone finds this story beautiful and understands the larger metaphor it represents, but that person is not me.
At only 93 pages, it's worth a read if you think you can puzzle it out.
