I'm reducing my rating from 3.5 stars to 0.5 stars. The reasoning being that the cover is apparently made by AI, which I am very disappointed to learn. The author has confirmed this on her TikTok.
Overall, I liked the story. I listened to the audiobook, so I didn't have the issues with the spelling, grammar, etc. that others have mentioned. I enjoyed it well enough, but now that has been tainted after learning that my purchase supported the continued use of scraping artists' works for new images. This is theft.
