The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

3.0

3.5 The story is told by two narrators, one of which (a young girl, named Paloma) I found grating in the beginning. Eventually, her voice became more insightful and added to the other narrator's musings. The second narrator, Renee, was entertaining and I enjoyed her passages a lot. The story itself is a glimpse of Parisian life; young, old, rich, poor, educated, uneducated, selfish and unselfish.
