Nine years later and a lot changes haha!
Honestly better than I was expecting! I think the plot is a really cool concept and I'm interested to see if Andrea Cremer will flesh it out even further in the sequel. I think what makes this book a little hard to read is the romance. It's not often that I prefer the secondary male character but that's what happened. I much prefer Ren to Shay's whining. Ren has some major flaws but is overall a likeable character, but with Shay all I get is clingy teenage boyfriend. Hopefully he improves upon me in the second book!
